14th St, NW (b/t Rhode Island Ave & N St)

As part of the Americans with Disability Act Compliance Program, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be coming to the above mentioned location on about November 2nd, 2015 (weather permitting), to perform repair work and upgrades to the existing sidewalks within your block. This work may include, but not limited to:

  • Upgrading of curb ramps and sidewalks through repair and/or replacement;
  • Correcting drainage issues;
  • Performing repair work at intersections as part of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliance Program; and
  • Installation of porous Flexible Paving (Flexi-Pave) in selected areas.

DDOT will work to maintain traffic and access while repairs and updates are done. Due to the nature of work, curbside parking may be restricted during construction hours. “NO PARKING” signs will be posted seventy-two (72) hours prior to the commencement of construction in those areas. All work will be conducted from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday through Saturday.

DDOT thanks you in advance for your patience and understanding during the construction to make these improvements on your street. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Project Engineer Mr. Robert Horton at robert.horton@dc.gov or 202-207-4970.
