Daytime Residential Street Sweeping Resumed March 23rd; Ticketing Begins March 30th
This is a reminder that the DC Department of Public Works (DPW) has resumed daytime mechanical street sweeping in scheduled, signed residential neighborhoods. Alternate-side parking restrictions in these areas have gone into effect as well. Parking tickets, which carry a $30 fine, will be issued, beginning March 30, to vehicles parked during street sweeping hours in areas posted with “No Parking/Street Cleaning” signs.
