About the PSTC

Chairperson: Janice Ferebee

The Public Space and Transportation Committee (PSTC) promotes a safe and effective transportation system for the residents and visitors of ANC 2F, and improves the use of public space in our neighborhood. The committee serves as a forum for discussing matters related to the following issues:

Alley, street light, and sidewalk repair
Parking (including valet parking, enhance residential parking program, and the visitor parking program)
Pedestrian and bicycle safety and infrastructure
Beautification, repair, and streetscape projects
Public transit
Public parks and green space
Public utilities
Other concerns as appropriate

The committee will serve as a resource for neighborhood residents, business owners, and ANC 2F Commissioners, as well as the Commission’s primary point of contact for DDOT, DPW, Department of Vehicles for Hire, Public Service Commission, WMATA, DC Water, and other entities.

PSTC Meetings

The PSTC usually meets on the second Wednesday of each month, at 7 p.m. at the Eaton Hotel. See meeting dates on the righthand side of this page.

So as to allow appropriate public notice of the issues before the committee, the agenda for each meeting is set and distributed a week prior through this website and the ANC 2F email list. Those having business before the committee should contact the PSTC Chair and ANC Executive Director to be added to the meeting agenda by 5:00 p.m. on the Wednesday preceding the next PSTC meeting. All materials that will be used in support of an application must be submitted to the ANC Executive Director by 5:00 p.m. on the Sunday preceding the PSTC meeting. All PSTC meetings are open to the public and offer the opportunity for community feedback and comment on projects before the committee.
