The following is a summary of official actions* taken by the ANC 2F Community Development Committee (CDC) at its January 29, 2015 meeting.
Actions Taken:
- The CDC voted unanimously (7-0) to recommend that the full ANC support the HPRB concept and design for rear alterations and a small addition to 1330 Vermont Ave, NW, as being consistent with the Historic Preservation Guidelines. The residential, matter of right zoning project is planned to be a five-unit building. The Applicant intends to preserve as much of the interior layout, finishes, and features as possible, and noted that the exterior alterations/addition would have no visual or structural impact on the front of the building. The Committee asked the Applicant to attend the February 4th regular monthly public meeting and provide an update on outreach to the surrounding neighbors.
